    Hi All,

this is just a short note to let you know that Braun has approved the continuation of this blog for the BraunPrize 2009 again! In these times where companies are cutting budgets everywhere I think this is great news :-)

Accordingly I will keep you posted about news and gossip around the BraunPrize in general, but mostly on things that will take place around the jury sessions that will take place on March, 16-18, 2009 as well June, 8-10, 2009 in Kronberg, Germany where Braun Headquarters are located.

However in the meantime please take care that you don’t miss the submission deadline on January, 31st, 2009!

I will keep you updated with some more general information over the next couple of days, so stay tuned and subscribe to our RSS-Feed (so you don’t miss any update :-)

im afraid i have to say that the most popular pictures in the shoot your inspiration-braun international photo competition are fake, most of the colombian photograpers that are winning, are using social networks like facebook, and others, to promote their pictures among their friends , i really hope that the criteria for choosing the winner of the contest will be based on something more than just the number of votes, i mean, check out the pics that have the most votes , they suck, but for sure the owners of those pics have lots of friends on facebook. ( by the way, the email adress of core 77 is way confusing so i had to post this here) is just unfair man. spread the word.

      Hi Andres,

and thanks for your note! Apparently the voting of peers is one of the key criteria and friends and networks voting for you is part of the deal. I am however sure that the final jury session will keep your criticism in mind and select the best composition that does not necessarily need to score highest.

Good luck in case you are submitting a photo as well!
